Weekly Update September 23rd-27th

Happy Monday!

We hope everyone had a great weekend.  The Fall Kickoff on Friday was so great, and it showed what amazing staff we have here at Gordon Parks Elementary.  Last week during TGM we reviewed the Child Study process and all of those documents have been uploaded to google.  Please let us know if you are having trouble getting to them.  This week during TGM we will be reviewing Evaluate data for grades 2nd-4th and TK-1st will just do an overall data check in.   This week, during our visits, we are still looking to see that high expectations are being set for all students.  If you would like for us to look for specific things when we visit, please let us know. As always, if you need anything please let us know.

Weekly Update for September 16th

Happy Monday!!! We hope everyone had a great weekend cheering on the Chiefs (or whatever team you love). This week the TGM topic will be Child Study and our ERD topic will be on Inquiry Based Learning. As we are visiting classrooms, this week, we are looking to see how you are setting high expectations for all students. I have attached some articles below on different ways to accomplish this, if you are needing some ideas. As always, our door is open and we are eager to support you any way week can. Good Morning!

We hope everyone had a great (extended) weekend :)!  Thank you for your input in team growth meetings last week.  It really helped us to see and understand where each grade level is currently.  There are some AMAZING things happening at Gordon Parks Elementary!  This week we will both be out on Tuesday to attend our monthly KC PLUS PD.  Please let us know if you need anything.
